The article presents the migrant movements that were established and active in the Autonomous factory Rog between 2006 and 2011. Rog has always been strongly characterized by various social and political movements, with movements focusing on migration-related issues often at the forefront of its activities. These movements acted as an important transformational factor that influenced state policies in the field of migration. The author describes three initiatives that were based in Social Center Rog: 1. Permanent Visitation Network (2006), which was primarily focused on the Centre for Foreigners (a migrant detention centre) in Veliki Otok near Postojna; 2. A World for Everyone (2008), which brought together aslyum seekers from an asylum home in Ljubljana; and 3. Invisible Workers of the World (IWW; 2007–2011), which connected migrant workers with each other.
